Gallery Hours: Mon – Sat 10 – 6 | Sun 12 – 5

Alicia’s current body of work simultaneously incites and discourages “High Strung” tension as her figures engage in meditative balancing acts in a claustrophobic and dense world.

Predominately painting on wood panel, Alicia creates a dialogue between rustic – like hand marked surfaces and concise, delineated flat spaces.

High Strung aims to pull this tension close, and then release it with an uncertainty that is a metaphor of the current condition in our busy, saturated lives.
